It has been another incredible week in the Masai Mara.
We have been out in the field everyday the whole day and it just keeps getting better.
For this week our mobile camp has been based a little further south in the Mara Triangle which worked out perfectly as a lot of the migrating wildebeest have been crossing the Mara river at a crossing point about 5 minutes from camp.
As mentioned before, the Mara never disappoints and the images that the photographers on our group – some brand new and just starting their exciting photographic journey – have been creating is nothing short of spectacular.
With two more days to go before we wrap things up and head back to South Africa the excitement levels are still as high as when we arrived in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife photography destinations.
Last night as we were sitting around the campfire Karen, one of our guests from Europe, said something, and I am going to leave you with this quote, that made me again realise how privileged I am to do what I do.
She said “When I am home I just live. When I am in Africa I am alive!”
Until next time.
