Diversity in nature makes for amazing experience and wonderful wildlife photography.
There are few places that can compare with the Great Bear Rainforest when it comes to the combined diversity of awe-inspiring landscapes and spectacular and truly rare wildlife.
While chatting to a client who is keen to join me on my next expedition to this incredible place later this year I scrolled through my Lightroom catalog and was transported back to my first adventure in the Great Bear Rainforest.
In chronological order, here are a few of the images I captured in 2017 and that shows but a glimpse of the diversity of this place and the reason why I cannot wait to get back there later this year.
The Diversity of the Great Bear Rainforest
And all of that was taken during a 9 night expedition. Quite incredible!
If you would like to see more images you can do so here and if you’re keen to find out more about the next GreatBear Rainforest photo expedition I will be hosting in August you can find the info here.
I’m going to leave you with an interesting fact from the Great Bear Rainforest.
Do you know why the trees grow so large in the old-growth forests of the Forest? Because bears leave their partially eaten salmon in the forest, like offerings, for the trees and soil to absorb the nutrients. In fact salmon DNA has been found in the old trees!
Until next time,
