This is the reason we get to do what we do.
This is the reason we have the privilege of visiting amazing places and experiencing amazing things.
This is the essence of every single Wild Eye photographic safari.
When people hear that I am off on another photo safari I inevitably get – “Man, you must love your job because you get to photograph wildlife all the time.”
The reality is that yes, I do love what I do but I do not consider photographing wildlife one of my job descriptions. Sure, I get to see amazing things and I have the opportunity to get some decent images but this is a side benefit to what I do. It is not the reason why I do it!
As a photographic guide your goal is not too shoot for yourself.
Time allowing yes, you do get few shots in between but never at the expense of the people that made it possible for you to go on the trip in the first place.
To me it’s about sharing, guiding, teaching.
It’s about creating memories and making friends.
If I have had the privilege of hosting you on a Wild Eye photo safari.
If you have not yet traveled with us I am sure that whichever one of the Wild Eye Ambassadors you travel with you will have an amazing experience that is focused on you!
Do you know what this is?
It’s about the people!
Until next time.
