It is no secret that Kruger National Park is one of my absolute favourite wildlife destinations. It has this special effect, this tangible presence.

It is near impossible to describe, and so I wanted to show you in a collection of images.

I am currently in the field hosting our 2015 Kruger Photo Safari. To say that it has been incredible is a utter understatement. My guests have experienced incredible sights so far, and with 3 days to go who knows what else will happen.

Please take a moment and enjoy some of my safari highlight from the past 6 days.

This leopardess welcomed us to Camp Shawu on our first day, and what a sight she was. She had two cubs and they were simply adorable.

One of her cubs could not take its eyes off of us, and we were not complaining either!

Lions are plentiful in this part of Kruger National Park, with daily sightings common practice.

Cattle Egret are a common presence around the massive buffalo herds encountered here on a daily basis.

A lion pride of almost 30 strong call Camp Shawu their home. Being with them is extremely special. They have 4 large coalition males, as well as cubs only a few months of age.

Thanks so much for taking the time.

This safari promises it all! Action, excitement and romance!

Passion, enthusiasm and an unquenchable thirst to explore and introduce you to our natural world’s wildlife perfectly sums up my ambitions. I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. Through my African adventures I kept my photographic passion alive. Behind a camera aimed at a lion or a leopard is where I am most at home, my heart skipping a beat at the mere thought of it. My intention has never been solely for recognition but for the plight of what’s left of our natural recourses. Using my love and understanding of wildlife I am able to convey to the viewer more than an image or a fleeting moment. I aim to tell a story, to bring that moment alive to you and to capture your heart through it.

    Hello,

I found wild eye you tube channel which lead me to this blog. Amazing wild life photos .

It happens that I will be going to the same shawu camp in a few months. So you know how good the drive the camp offer is ?

Also how’s the cell phone coverage is at the camp?

    Thanks.
