Front Row Seats

I am not entirely sure if every one will feel the same way about this but here I go anyway;

There is always such a hype around front row seats at concert or music production?

An endless debate between sitting closer or further away from the cinema screen?

The desire to sit closer to the front of the aircraft?

This list can go on…

I am not sure of your thoughts are (I’d love to hear them) but I am not too phased when it comes to the above. As long as I’m at the show or on the plane, I’m happy! Not everything and everyone needs a front row seat in life to be honest.

But now…

In saying all the above, there is one front row seat that matters & I do hope that each and every one of you get to experience one day.

This seat is a seat that not many are privileged to sit in. It presents a short but definitely one of the most thrilling shows on this planet, a close up show that will leave you speechless & somewhat frozen in time as seen below;

While sitting behind this vehicle I was keenly aware that I had a unique opportunity, a front row seat, on an unfolding story and nobody else was going to see it from quite the vantage point as the folk in the image above.

We decided to stay put and capture what we could from where we were because special moments like these feel like a lifetime but actually happen very quickly. I decided to shoot a bit wider and capture this very special moment. A moment that felt frozen in time, a mere fraction of a second as this leopardess stood motionlessly and staring straight into the guests eyes.

If you have not yet been face to face with a leopard staring straight into their eyes I will try do describe the feeling and I am sure this is what the folk in the image were feeling at the very moment;

The first thing you feel is a chill run down your spine before it spreads into a flourish of goosebumps that spread across your body. It seems as if the wind stops blowing, the birds stop singing and everything around you feels as if it freezes. You feel your heart beating, you hear your breathing while your eyes are locked onto this magnificent animal as it gracefully stands staring back at you. ‘A leopards stare is a simple stare that holds incredible determination, focus, strength and believe me when I say a fearless stare!’ It feels as if she has a power of luring ones eyes & when you sit eye to eye, your thoughts run wild but strangely the only thing you think of is to take in this exceptional moment between yourself and this free, wild & astonishing creature.

There you have it…

I’ve tried my best to try and explain this feeling as best as I could but it purely is something you need to experience to understand.

I do hope for your sake that you are blessed with a front row seat to enjoy a special moment similar to the one seen above. All I ask is for you to enjoy every moment of it, to know how privileged you are to have been blessed with that incredibly special moment.

Until then;

Happy Snapping!
