Guest Blog: An aerial perspective of the Okavango Delta

Guest Blogger Guest 3 Comments

The Okavango Delta, one of the most incredible wilderness sanctuaries in Africa, 15000 square kilometers of water, channels and islands. During the November Botswana Wilderness Safari we had the opportunity to experience this wonder also by air.

Opportunities were there to photograph amazing shapes and patterns during flights between camps.

As an optional extra, an hour long helicopter flight was aranged that made it possible to get an even better perspective about animal life and their habitat, being able to get closer, without causing disturbance.

Different patterns, textures and shapes can be seen around every corner.

Being able to experience the Delta on land is already phenomenal. To do it from the air brings just another dimension that needs to be experienced.

Thank you Wild Eye for another unforgettable experience.
