We hope you like Trip Reports!

It has been an incredibly busy month for the Wild Eye team with numerous scheduled departures and private guided safaris having taken place.

Whilst all of the trip reports are being compiled by the various hosts and guests, we thought it would be nice to give you an idea of whats coming your way over the coming weeks!

Exclusive Amboseli & Tsavo | June 2016

I’ve already covered the first 5 nights of this safari which were spent in Amboseli in this trip report and will be sharing more on what was an incredible adventure through Tsavo West in the coming weeks.

Private Guided Zimbabwe & Zambia Safari | July 2016

Gerry van der Walt - Photographic Safari - Private Guide

Gerry hosted a family from the United States on an incredible adventure through Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools and Zambia’s South Luangwa National Parks. David Rosenzweig was one of the guests on the trip and whilst he prepares the trip report we thought you may want to check out some of his previous guest posts on the blog:

Exclusive Madikwe Photo Safari | July 2016

Whilst the underground hide at the lodge is a highlight of this safari, there is so much else to see and photograph in Madikwe and we were treated to some great sightings of elephant, rhino, wild dog, cheetah and lion. Most importantly though, each of our guests walked away with a new skill set and approach to the way they photograph and edit their images!

Kruger National Park Photo Safari | July 2016

Kruger National Park Photo safari

“The Wild-Eye photographic safari to Kruger was just indescribable. The region is extremely dry and that ensured for amazing sightings from general game to the big 5. All my guests went home with amazing images and memories that will stay with them for a very long time ….or maybe even forever.”

Private Guided Madikwe Safari|  July 2016

As an extension to our Exclusive Madikwe Photo Safari, one of our guests extended their stay in madikwe with 2 nights of private guiding at a rustic bush camp. We enjoyed some incredible sightings and golden light during this extension and I look forward to sharing my guests images from our time together.

Mana Pools Photo Safari | July 2016

Morkel hosted our first of 4 Mana pools Photographic Safari departures for 2016 and, based on his feedback, our guests had an incredible time.

“Our time in Mana Pools can be summed up with this phrase: privileged elephant encounters on foot, and sublime light to work with. We worked hard and chased specific lighting situations to photograph in, and my guests were duly rewarded with stunning images and awesome memories of their time spent in one of Africa’s pristine wilderness areas.”

Big Cats & Tuskers Photo Safari |July 2016

Gerry and I hosted the second Big cats and Tuskers photo Safari departure for 2016 just last week. This new departure was added to our existing February departure with the aim of giving guests the chance of witnessing the start of the great migration in Kenya’s Masai Mara before exploring the Lakes of Nakuru and Naivasha as well as Amboseli.

If there is just one trip to Kenya that you have to do, this is it!

In addition to all of this Marlon will be hosting our South Luangwa Photo safari from tomorrow and then in the new week the first of our 8 back to back Great Migration Safaris kick off.

I think  its safe to say that there wont be a shortage of trip reports on the blog over the coming months!
