On Monday I was working in Lightroom with a client that joined us in the Mara on a recent photographic safari and we found this image.
Tristan shot this in the Mara a few weeks earlier on his Nikon D800.
So, as we got stuck into the processing of the image we zoomed into the eye to look at noise reduction and sharpening.
This is what we saw!
That’s our vehicle reflected in the young hyena’s eye.
The image is a straight crop from the original image with no processing or adjustments and I am sure you will agree with me that the quality is phenomenal!!
I knew that the the Nikon D800, at 36.3 MP produces amazing quality images but I was suitably impressed.
Imagine the possibilities!
Until next time.
