Be Inspired By: Golden Light

Having just returned from destinations like Mana Pools, Sabi Sabi and Svalbard I have been lucky enough to see some incredible light and that is where the idea for this week’s Be Inspired By theme came from.

Golden light.  It’s the reason we go out there, makes for some of our most memorable photographic moments out in nature and this week we asked you to share these moments with us.

Once you’ve had a look at some of our favourites below head over to our Facebook page and have a look at some of the many other great images that were shared during the weekend.

Right, here we go!

“This picture was taken at Palmwag Concession, Rhino desert camp in Namibia. I love this remote vastness and scenery you can only see in Namibia. Special moments in a very special area. Just us and nature!”

“Golden Light Not in Africa, but in South London. Taken early one morning in Richmond Park – I went to photograph the deer rutting but the light won all my attention.”

“The morning list hung low over the grassland, clinging to a straggly line of trees, with a hillock in the background. The sun had just crept over the Ngorongoro Crater rim, silhouetting the hillock, the trees and a large elephant as it ambled across the landscape. FYI, what seems to be the sky behind the hillock is actually the walls of the Ngorongoro crater which tower above the scene and did not fit in the frame.”

“A wild dog sets off on the hunt at first light…”

As always a huge thanks to everybody who shared their images this week.  This was  very popular theme and one we might see again in future so hope we get to see more of your images.

Make sure to check out the Wild Eye Facebook page for more images and stay tuned for the next Be Inspired By theme!

Until next time,
