What camera do you think I used to create this image?
Ok, what about this one?
And this one?
If you answered that it doesn’t matter then you’re on the right track.
Because it doesn’t.
It didn’t matter last year or the year before and it doesn’t matter now.
It never will.
Yes, I know this is a recurring theme. It’s something I have carried on about many many times during the last few years yet there are still people who are way more obsessed than they should be about the gear they have – or want – rather than focusing on just making images.
The question of what gear should I use is never, and will never be as interesting, productive or fun as what can I do with my current gear to create better images.
Ask the right questions, enjoy the journey and stop always worrying about whether your camera is good enough.
Just make good wildlife images.
I guarantee you it will be worth it!
Until next time.
