The Serengeti is a name firmly embedded within the safari culture of both days gone by and the modern era. It has inspired filmmakers, drawn in countless wildlife photographers and romanced lovers from all around the world. It is a constant source of inspiration with an abundance of natural beauty that’s never seems to wither. The Serengeti stands alone in it’s marvelous ability to deliver an extraordinary encounter with Africa’s wildlife unlike any other and our Serengeti Migration Safari offers you the perfect way in which to experience it.
We begin our 2017 Serengeti Migration Safari at the iconic Moru Kopjes, made famous by The Lions Kings’ Pride Rock. The visual beauty of this area & photographic potential will make for an exciting safari experience. Resident lions often lie up on these rocks, as well as cheetah & leopard. It makes for an ideal look-out for approaching prey as well as potential danger.
Ndutu & its surrounds will be our second stop. The next 4 days will center around the migratory herds consisting of over 2 million animals. They come to rest and give birth in the region generally west from Kilimanjaro and we base our safari within the hotspot that is Ndutu. This region is also very well known for the tree-climbing lions, found within the vicinity of the Ndutu Lakes.
We finish our safari experience with 2 days in the Ngorongoro Crater. This wildlife haven is a bucket-list destination for just about every avid nature lover & wildlife photographer. The crater floor is bonanza of wildlife & vistas, you’ll find it hard to pry your camera from your face! Many rumors have been spread about the “over utilization” of the park by too many visitors, but we can assure you that it needs to be seen to be appreciated. It’s simply spectacular.
