From my Ranger Days

Here are a selection of images from my ‘ranger days’ at Mala Mala, where I spent 4 years – definitely some of the best times of my life.

I think every one of us guides had a fascination with the big cats, the opportunity to spend hours watching them do what they do, was a privilege I will never forget.

These images were all shot on film, it was pre-digital, and I left the scratches and dust on the for authenticity!

At the end of my time at Mala Mala a couple of the guys began using the very early digital cameras – little did we know how much technology would change!
