Picture it.

You’ve flow from Johannesburg to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Oslo, Oslo to Tromso, and finally, you’re en-route to Longyearbyen from Tromso.

Your face is pressed flat up against the window of the plane it slowly begins to descend.

The patterns made by drift ice floating in the blue of the arctic ocean soon gave way to what can only be described as a white wonderland.

I’ve let the images  taken with my Canon Powershot G16 do the talking in this post. Rather appropriate considering I was left lost for words after finally landing in Svalbard.
