As you know Fridays are tutorial days on Wild Eye.
In the past I have been doing tutorials on various aspects of processing your images in Lightroom and Photoshop and the content of these tutorials was largely determined by requests I received on email or via social media. Based on a lot of the questions you guys have been asking it seems that there are quite a few people who understand a little bit of this or that but are not quite sure how the whole process, from start to finish, fits together.
I have been very impressed with the redesigned sliders and processing power of Lightroom 4 so since it’s release a few weeks ago I have been working on series of videos on the entire digital workflow from importing your images, processing them and exporting your final results.
The first of this tutorial series will be posted on Friday 6 April, and then on every following Friday, and in this first video I will look at importing your images into Lightroom and all the options you have for categorizing and organizing in the Library module. From there we will work our way through the Develop module, exporting your images and then also touch on the newly added Book and Map modules.
Now I would love to hear from you as to whether there are any specific questions you have or if there are any specific processes you would like me to include and focus on in these videos.
Even if a whole tutorial is not dedicated to your question I will do my very best to include it in one of the videos.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Until next time.
